Korea National Food Cluster, The Direction Of The Future Food Industry

A ‘Future Food Industry Technical Seminar’ was held for the corporations and persons concerned with the food industry at the International Conference Hall of the Korea National Food Cluster Support Center.​

The seminar, jointly hosted by the Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition and the Korea National Food Cluster, took a look at the progress and technology of the future food industry and shared new technology and the latest information of the food industry.

​During the seminar, an expert of future food and IT technology came up to give an outline of the future food industry necessary for the current food industry and introduced some real-life cases, and then proceeded to propose counteractive strategies and the direction of development for the Korean food industry.​

Meanwhile, as part of the seminar’s program, a tasting event was also held for the participants of the seminar with the exhibition of products by the KBS Foodtech Future Food King finalists and the 2nd Korea National Food Cluster Business Support Lab.​

The chief director of the Korea National Food Cluster, Yoon Tae-jin, stated, “Today’s technical seminar has become an opportunity to take a look into the current state of Korea’s food industry in relation to the future food industry and exchange beneficial information about the food business.”​
